In our curriculum, we had the opportunity to intern in LCIS (school integration classes). This internship gave us the opportunity to have an overview of children with autism. It was very rewarding. Indeed, every human being has different capabilities. It is not always easy to realize them. By being confronted actually handicap that one realizes these limits.
We also attended a session of speech therapy, when we were able to observe the various issues regarding which they face. For example, for hair color (red, blonde ...) they have difficulty understanding that this is not the color of every day. For the roux, they tend to equate it with the orange. They therefore have difficulty appropriating a specific element that corresponds to this (eg the red, the colors are blonde is equated to the hair and not the pencil with which it draws).
Moreover, during our license, we had the opportunity to make a presentation on autism which allowed us to expand our knowledge in this field and understand more deeply the disease. A presentation on the deaf, we also discover another handicap.
